The Fund is grateful to all individuals and organizations who feel they are able to make a large gift to the Fund in the form of a named or endowed scholarship.
A named scholarship is established with a minimum donation of $1000. A gift of $1000 or more will bear the name as requested and be awarded within one year of the the date when the funds for the gift are received. If the gift is more than $1000 but less than $15,000, it will be awarded over a period of time as stipulated by the donor, but usually in amounts of $1000 per year.
One may also create an endowed scholarship in perpituity which will exist for a period in excess of one year. The minimum donation to endow a named scholarship is $15,000.
Of course, donations of less than $1000 are always thankfully accepted indeed, these gifts fund the bulk of our scholarship awards. These gifts will be added to the general Funds of the CHSSF and distributed in the year of the gift.
A donation can be made in the honor or memory of an individual or group. At the donor's request, a note will be sent to the requested individual or group. |
